1 dead, 1 seriously hurt in multi-vehicle crash on SH-33 in Creek Co.

CREEK COUNTY, OK – A multi-vehicle collision on State Highway 33 in Creek County yesterday evening led to the death of one person and the serious injury of another, according to KFOR.

The crash happened just after 5 p.m. on SH-33 and S 201st W Avenue, west of Sapulpa, after a 2008 Hyundai Accent collided with a 2011 Kia Soul and a 1999 Peterbilt semi-truck.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 47-year-old man from Drumright, was taken to the hospital in Tulsa with severe head and internal injuries.

A passenger in the same vehicle, 40-year-old Sara E. Clark, also of Drumright, died at the scene.

The driver of the Soul refused treatment at the site of the crash.

The truck driver was not hurt in the collision.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
