1 hospitalized after rollover collision in Verdigris

VERDIGRIS, OK – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a major rollover collision in Rogers County last week.

According to News on 6, the March 25th crash occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. when the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed along U.S. Route 66 near South 4120 Road.

Police say the driver lost control of his vehicle and veered off the roadway and rolled over onto some nearby train tracks. It is unclear how long they were in the vehicle before help arrived.

The driver was flown to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
