1 injured following Tulsa house fire

TULSA, OK – Firefighters in Tulsa responded to the scene of a major house fire west of downtown Monday afternoon.

According to Fox 23 Tulsa, the blaze broke out shortly after 3:30 p.m. at a home near the Tulsa Hills Shopping Center near the intersection of 71st Street and Elwood Avenue.

Fire investigators believe the blaze started in the fireplace and spread to the rest of the home. One person was hurt, but the extent of their injuries remains unknown.
