1 injured in collision on I-44 near Oklahoma City’s Oak Grove area

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — At least one person was hurt due to a vehicle crash Thursday evening on Interstate 44 near southwest Oklahoma City, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

The accident impacted the southbound interstate at Exit 119 to Southwest 15th Street, near the city’s Oak Grove neighborhood. It was first reported shortly before 5:20 p.m.

Authorities have not shared information on the cause of the wreck or the vehicles involved, but traffic was delayed two exits back to Northwest 10th Street (Exit 121).

At this time, the number of people injured and the extent of their injuries has not been confirmed.
