1 person critically injured, another hurt in 3-vehicle crash on I-40

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two people were injured today, one of them seriously, in a multi-vehicle collision in central Oklahoma City, according to News 9.

The accident occurred near the interchange between westbound I-40 and I-44 this afternoon when three vehicles collided.

A man was rescued from the accident and taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe, life-threatening injuries.

Another person, a victim from a different vehicle than the first, was also taken in to be treated for non-critical injuries.

The accident caused authorities to close the roadways in the area for nearly an hour and a half.

Their investigation continues into the crash at this time.
