1 person dead, 1person injured following single-vehicle wreck on I-35

NOBLE COUNTY, OK – A driver died and their passenger was critically injured in a single-car wreck on I-35 Thursday, KFOR reports.
Gregory Arnold, 57, was driving a Toyota 4Runner on southbound I-35 when his vehicle strayed off the road, collided with multiple objects, rolled over, and finally came to rest on its wheels.
Arnold’s passenger, Mei Wu Arnold, 62, was trapped underneath the vehicle until emergency crews arrived and used the Jaws of Life to extricate her around 7:15 a.m.
Mei Wu Arnold was then flown to a nearby hospital in critical condition with injuries to her head, torso, and legs.
Gregory was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
It is unclear exactly where on I-35 the traffic accident happened.
