1 person dead, 3 people injured in Seminole County wrong-way collision

SEMINOLE COUNTY, OK – A person was killed, and three others were hospitalized following a wrong-way crash on I-40 in Seminole County this morning, according to KFOR.

The accident happened on westbound I-40, near mile marker 197, at about 11:30 a.m., as a driver was driving the wrong way, against oncoming traffic.

Multiple vehicles collided, leading to the death of one person at the scene. Another three people were sent to the hospital via medical helicopter. Their condition was not immediately released.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
