11-year-old girl injured by hit-and-run driver in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials are looking for the driver who hit an 11-year-old girl and left her with serious injuries, according to KOCO.

Oklahoma City police say the girl was hit by the car while she was attempting to cross the street.

The accident happened near the intersection of Hefner Road and Western Avenue sometime Wednesday.

Police say that after the incident, the driver fled the scene heading east.
