14-year-old boy killed after ATV lands on top of him at Lake Eufaula

LAKE EUFAULA, OK – A 14-year-old boy was killed in an ATV accident at Lake Eufaula in McIntosh County yesterday evening, according to OKC FOX.

The accident happened on the lakeshore at about 6 p.m., as a 13-year-old boy was operating a 2021 Polaris Ranger ATV while two 14-year-old boys were riding with him as passengers.

The 13-year-old was making donuts in the sand when the vehicle flipped over and landed on one of the boys, who had been ejected during the crash.

The child was taken to the hospital in Muskogee with severe head injuries. There, he was pronounced dead.

The boy who was ejected was reportedly not wearing his seatbelt at the time. The other two occupants were restrained, according to the report.
