16-year-old boy killed in ATV crash in Latimer County

WILBURTON, OK (LATIMER COUNTY) – A teenage boy from Latimer County was killed in an ATV accident in the Wilburton area on Friday, according to information from KFOR.
The crash happened on a snow-covered road on private property located 5.5 miles west of Wilburton. A 16-year-old boy from Wilburton was riding on a 2017 Polaris Ranger ATV when he crashed the vehicle.
The teenager was partially ejected from the ATV and was later pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released, and the incident remains under investigation at this time.
