18-year-old dead, 3 others hospitalized after wreck near Bristow

BRISTOW, OK – An 18-year-old was killed and three other people were hospitalized as a result of a car accident near Bristow on Wednesday, according to information from News 9.

The collision happened near S 417 W Avenue and W 251st Street when the driver of a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, 19-year-old Thomas Grammar, collided with a 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van being driven by Jacob Brigance.

A passenger in the Tahoe, 18-year-old Bristow resident Abreanna Proberts, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second passenger in the same vehicle, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Grammar and Brigance were both taken to the hospital and then later released.

The cause of the collision was not immediately available.
