According to KUSH, the accident occurred at about 8:39 p.m. within the 4500 block of West 6th Avenue.

Investigators believe the driver of a passenger vehicle failed to yield the right of way while turning out of a private drive as 19-year-old Christopher Dylan Howerton was approaching on his motorcycle.

Howerton collided with the sedan and was thrown from the motorcycle, along with his unidentified passenger. Both were transported to Stillwater Medical Center where he died a short time later.

The condition of the passenger is unknown at this time.
