2 arrested after crashing into home near 42nd and Pennsylvania Ave.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two individuals were taken into custody after slamming into a home in southwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday morning.

According to KFOR, the accident occurred shortly after 3:40 a.m. near the intersection of NW 42nd Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police say they pursued the suspects prior to the incident but lost sight of their vehicle somewhere around NW 36th Street and Kentucky Avenue.  A few minutes later, that vehicle crashed into the kitchen of a private residence.

One occupant in the vehicle sustained minor injuries but was not taken to the hospital. The homeowners were unhurt in the crash.

Both occupants in the vehicle were taken into custody following the accident. It is unclear what charges they will face at this time.
