2 injured following accident on Oklahoma 10

MUSKOGEE, OK – Two people were injured in an accident on State Highway 10 near Braggs late Thursday night.

According to the Muskogee Phoenix, the accident occurred at about 11:20 p.m., when the driver of a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado lost control during a curve in the road and hit a tree. The driver and a passenger were pinned in the vehicle for around 20 minutes before emergency responders extricated them.

The two victims were taken to a hospital in Tulsa.

Police said the accident occurred because the driver took the curve too fast.
