2 killed following 3-vehicle Nowata County crash

NOWATA CO., OK – Trooper with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported multiple fatalities resulting from a 3-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

According to News on 6, the accident took place shortly before 8 a.m. along US-169 near the intersection with SH-10.

Responding officers believe one driver was attempting to turn into US-169 from SH-10 when they were struck by an oncoming vehicle. The force of the impact sent the first vehicle into the northbound lanes where it was struck head-on by a third oncoming car.

Both occupants in the third vehicle, Larry Schick, 64, and Kimberly Schick, 60, sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
