2 teens dead, man injured in crash on OK-1 in Pontotoc County

FITZHUGH, OK (PONTOTOC COUNTY) – A crash last night on Highway 1 in Pontotoc County took the lives of two teenage girls and severely injured another person, according to KFOR.

The crash occurred near Fitzhugh, about six miles north of the town of Roff, on OK-1, north of the Chickasaw Turnpike, at 7:11 p.m., and involved a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup truck.

A 15-year-old girl from Roff and a 17-year-old girl from Eufala were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 23-year-old man from Ada was airlifted to the hospital in Oklahoma City for the treatment of critical injuries to the head and torso.

All three victims were ejected from the Ram during the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
