20-year-old killed in single-vehicle rollover crash near Marlow

MARLOW, OK (STEPHENS COUNTY) – A 20-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash in Stephens County yesterday morning, according to information from KFOR News.

The collision happened near Marlow on S Railroad Street near Jerry Wayne Lane at around 6:22 a.m., as the driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer attempted to round a curve in the roadway.

The driver, 20-year-old Duncan resident Patrick S. Olinger, went over the center line, then overcorrected. The vehicle then ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned onto its roof.

Olinger was ejected during the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities believe that Olinger was not wearing his seatbelt when the collision happened.

No other injuries were reported in the crash, which remains under investigation at this time.
