22-year-old killed, driver injured in 3-vehicle crash in Purcell

PURCELL, OK (MCCLAIN COUNTY) – A multi-vehicle crash led to the death of a 22-year-old woman and the injury of another woman in McClain County late last night, according to KFOR.

The accident happened at about 11:40 p.m. in Purcell on I-35 N, near mile marker 99.5, when a 2010 Honda Accord, a 1993 GMC pickup truck, and a third vehicle collided.

A passenger in the Accord, 22-year-old Oklahoma City woman Keondre Hamilton, died at the scene.

She was not wearing her seatbelt at the time and may have been ejected during the crash.

The driver of the Accord, a 26-year-old woman from Oklahoma City, was taken to the hospital in Norman with undisclosed injuries, then later released.

The driver of the GMC, a 38-year-old man from Grayling, Michigan, was not reported as injured.

No information was immediately released about the third vehicle or its driver.

The accident remains under investigation.
