27-year-old pedestrian killed after being struck by vehicle in Ottawa Co.

COMMERCE, OK (OTTAWA COUNTY) – A 27-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian crash in Ottawa County on Wednesday night, according to KFOR.

The collision occurred on Highway 69A, near County Road 60, at about 9 p.m., as Oklahoma resident Travis Huff was walking in the northbound lanes of the highway.

He was struck by a 2008 Dodge Charger, despite the driver’s attempts to swerve around Huff. The victim reportedly walked in front of the Charger, leading to his death at the scene.

The driver was not reported as injured.
