29-year-old man pushing bike fatally hit by car in Choctaw County

SAWYER, OK (CHOCTAW COUNTY) – A 29-year-old pedestrian pushing a bicycle was fatally struck by a driver on Highway 70 in Choctaw County late last night, according to KOCO News.

The accident happened on westbound US-70 in Sawyer at about 11:15 p.m., as 29-year-old Hugo man Arron Dickson was pushing a bicycle in the outside lane of the highway.

Dickson was struck by the driver of a 2006 Jeep Laredo. He died at the scene.

The two occupants of the Jeep were not reported as injured.
