3 killed, 3 injured in Mayes County crash

MAYES COUNTY, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are investigating the cause of a Mayes County crash that killed one woman and two juveniles Sunday evening,

The single-vehicle collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. along the Cherokee Turnpike westbound near the County Road 4400 overpass, according to Tulsa World.

The three victims were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Three others were transported to a local hosptial in critical condition. All were passengers in a Toyota Tacoma at the time the crash occurred.

The cause of the fatal collision is still under investigation.
