30-year-old man killed in Broken Arrow rollover accident on Christmas Eve

BROKEN ARROW, OK – A 30-year-old man was killed after being pinned in during an accident in Broken Arrow on Christmas Eve, according to Tulsa World.

The accident occurred around 8:25 a.m. on the Creek Turnpike, near 145th Avenue E, when 30-year-old Broken Arrow man Scott Schwegler went off the side of the roadway. His vehicle rolled over an unspecified number of times before landing upside-down in a ditch.

Schwegler was trapped within the wreckage of the vehicle for about 20 minutes before being rescued by firefighting teams.

He was taken to the hospital in Tulsa, where he later died of injuries sustained during the crash.

No other injuries were reported in the accident.
