4 injured, 1 killed from 2-vehicle crash at State Hwy 152 and Stat Hwy 44

NEW CORDELL, OK – One person died and several were injured in a two-vehicle crash at State Hwy 44 and State Hwy 152 on August 20, Guthrie News Page reports.

Callie Lynn Cortez, 21, was driving a Ford Escape south on State Hwy 44 as a GMC Sierra was driving west on State Hwy 152.  Cortez ran the stoplight at the intersection of the two roads and collided with the GMC Sierra.

Cortez would die from her injuries. Her passenger, Christopher Michael Cortez, 23, was hospitalized in stable condition with a head injury.

The three occupants of the GMC Sierra were treated at an area hospital and then released.
