4 killed in single-vehicle collision on I-10

CLINTON, OK – Four people are dead after a Hyundai strayed off the roadway of I-10 and struck a concrete drainage ditch, reports KOCO.

The driver of the 2014 Hyundai Sonata was traveling east on I-40 when they strayed off the road and into a concrete ditch. The force of the collision drove the car over the embankment and into the air and then landed upside down.

Aime Tarango, 27, and Marleen Moncada, 36, along with a 7-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy were killed in the accident. An unidentified 16 year old was hospitalized and is reported to be in stable condition.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
