56-year-old Texas woman killed in Creek County crash

CREEK CO., OK – A woman from Texas died following a single-vehicle crash near Bristow on Monday night.

According to News on 6, 56-year-old Sheilla Forester lost control of her vehicle while traveling west on West 241st Street and collided with a fence. The vehicle then went airborne before crashed into a tree.

Forester was pinned inside her vehicle for an unknown amount of time after it came to rest in a creek bed. She was pulled from the vehicle and pronounced dead by Creek County EMS.

The cause of the fatal crash remains under investigation.
