Accident closes lanes on I-35

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol have reported injures as the result of a crash along Interstate 35 north of Oklahoma City.

According to the official Twitter page of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred within the 1240 block of I-35 at about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday. Information regarding how many people were involved in the crash or the severity of their injures has not been made public.

Officials were forced to shut down lanes along the highway while the crash was under investigation. Those lanes have since been reopened.
