Accident reduces traffic to one lane on I-35 SB near Guthrie

LOGAN COUNTY, OK — A vehicle crash late Tuesday afternoon partially blocked Interstate 35, causing delays near east Guthrie, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

The collision occurred on the southbound lanes at mile marker 156, just south of Oklahoma State Highway 33 (Exit 157). It was first reported by OKDOT at 4:05 p.m.

Officials have not released details regarding the cause of the wreck, but all southbound traffic was forced to get by the area through a single open lane.

At 5:30 p.m., about 85 minutes later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to normal traffic.

At this time, it remains unclear how many vehicles were involved and whether anyone was injured.
