All lanes of US-177 closed following accident in McClain County

MCCLAIN CO, OK – All lanes of US-177 north and south were closed due to a collision between the SH-59 and SH-19 intersections in McClain County on Thursday night.
Oklahoma’s Department of Transportation twitter feed reported the accident at 10:45 p.m. Thursday:
MCCLAIN CO: All lanes of north and southbound US-177 are closed b/t SH-59 east of Byars and SH-19 in Stratford due to a crash. Drivers are detoured at SH-59 and SH-19. Crews estimate closure lasting several hours.

Detours were in-place at SH-59 and SH-19 for at least multiple hours. No updates on when the roadway was reopened were provided.
