California woman killed after being rear-ended in Rogers County

CLAREMORE, OK (ROGERS COUNTY) – A woman from California was killed during a rear-end collision in Rogers County early yesterday morning, according to KTUL.

The collision occurred near Claremore on I-44 at about 1 a.m., when the driver of a 2005 Toyota Sienna struck the rear of a vehicle operated by 57-year-old Teri White, of Orcutt, California. The impact caused White’s vehicle to roll over.

White died at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota was pinned within the wreckage for about three hours and suffered minor injuries as a result.

White’s three passengers were not reported as injured.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
