Car bursts into flames on Broken Arrow Expressway

TULSA, OK – Officials with the Tulsa Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on the Broken Arrow Expressway early Monday morning.

According to News on 6, the incident was reported at about 7:30 a.m. Fire officials say the vehicle had been experiencing a mechanical issue before it caught fire.

The unidentified driver was able to exit the roadway and get out of the car before it became fully engulfed in flames. No other injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in just a few minutes.
