OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was killed by a hit-and-run driver in southwest Oklahoma City early yesterday morning, according to News 9.

The crash happened near the intersection of S Winston Way and SW 70th Street at around 6 a.m., when a female pedestrian was struck by a driver who then fled the scene.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.

No information on the suspect driver or vehicle was released.

2 teens dead, man injured in crash on OK-1 in Pontotoc County

FITZHUGH, OK (PONTOTOC COUNTY) – A crash last night on Highway 1 in Pontotoc County took the lives of two teenage girls and severely injured another person, according to KFOR.

The crash occurred near Fitzhugh, about six miles north of the town of Roff, on OK-1, north of the Chickasaw Turnpike, at 7:11 p.m., and involved a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup truck.

A 15-year-old girl from Roff and a 17-year-old girl from Eufala were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 23-year-old man from Ada was airlifted to the hospital in Oklahoma City for the treatment of critical injuries to the head and torso.

All three victims were ejected from the Ram during the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.

Collision near Crescent on State Hwy 74 kills 1, injures another

CRESCENT, OK – One man died and another was injured following a collision on the section of State Hwy 74 two miles south of Crescent on Sunday afternoon, according to Guthrie News Page.

Police say that Ralph C. Krehbiel, 71, was driving a Buick LaCrosse on northbound State Hwy 74 when he strayed out of the center line and collided head-on with a Chevy Impala operated by Kim L. Flatt, 32.

First responders pronounced Flatt dead at the scene when they arrived in the area around 1:05 p.m. Krehbiel was taken by helicopter to OU Medical Center in critical condition.

The case is under investigation.

Man to be charged for deadly crash near Ceena that killed 3

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man who plead guilty to charges in relation to a crash that killed two in April of 2019 will be sentenced for the crime on Tuesday, reports KFOR.

The incident began at the intersection of S.W. 40th St and Villa Ave. Officers attempted to make a traffic stop. The SUV, which was occupied by driver Andrew Munoz and passenger Deanna Alvarez, appeared like it was going to comply with orders to pull over but then sped off.

Police pursued the SUV at speeds around 80 MPH.  Munoz ran the stop sign at the intersection of S.W. 44th St. and Villa Ave and crashed into a vehicle occupied by Tonya Horn, her husband Eric Horn, and their 8-year-old daughter.

Tonya and the daughter were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Eric suffered serious injuries.

According to investigators, the SUV driven by Munoz was stolen. Officers also discovered firearms and drugs inside the vehicle.

Police charged Munoz with two counts of first-degree murder, causing an accident while driving a vehicle without a proper driver’s license, unauthorized use of a vehicle, trafficking in illegal drugs, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of proceeds derived from a violation of CDS.

Munoz entered a blind plea to all the charges. He will be sentenced for these charges on Tuesday in court.

23-year-old woman dead after being hit by car in Sallisaw

SALLISAW, OK – A 23-year-old woman was killed after being hit by a car in the Sallisaw area early yesterday morning, according to Tulsa World.

The crash happened at around 1:20 a.m. on Highway 59, about a mile north of Sallisaw, when 23-year-old Sallisaw resident Sarah Kay Lawson was hit by a 2018 Dodge Journey.

Lawson was taken to the hospital in Sallisaw, and there she was pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation.

Man killed in apartment fire in midtown Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A man was killed in an apartment fire in midtown Tulsa last night, according to KTUL.

The fire broke out at Abbey Road Apartments, located near E 41st Street and S Peoria Avenue at about 9:30 p.m.

A man was killed in the blaze.

The fire has been ruled as an accident.

1 dead, 1 seriously hurt in multi-vehicle crash on SH-33 in Creek Co.

CREEK COUNTY, OK – A multi-vehicle collision on State Highway 33 in Creek County yesterday evening led to the death of one person and the serious injury of another, according to KFOR.

The crash happened just after 5 p.m. on SH-33 and S 201st W Avenue, west of Sapulpa, after a 2008 Hyundai Accent collided with a 2011 Kia Soul and a 1999 Peterbilt semi-truck.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 47-year-old man from Drumright, was taken to the hospital in Tulsa with severe head and internal injuries.

A passenger in the same vehicle, 40-year-old Sara E. Clark, also of Drumright, died at the scene.

The driver of the Soul refused treatment at the site of the crash.

The truck driver was not hurt in the collision.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.

Update: Man killed in deadly crash near lone wolf identified

LONE WOLF, OK – The name of the man killed in a crash at NS 2130 and E 1410 on Tuesday has been released, reports News 9.

First responders were dispatched to the area after receiving reports of the collision around 7 p.m. Christopher Goodman was pronounced dead at the scene and Mark Rogers was hospitalized in critical condition. Roger’s condition has not changed since then.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Single-vehicle collision near Lone Wolf injures 1, kills 1

LONE WOLF, OK – A crash killed one person and critically injured another at the intersection of N 2130 Rd and E 1410 rd, reports KOCO and KTUL.

The accident happened around 7:40 p.m. The date when the collision occurred is unclear. KTUL claims it happened Wednesday while KOCO says it happened Tuesday.

On whatever date the accident happened, it was a single-vehicle collision that involved a Honda Accord.

At least two people occupied the vehicle at the time of the wreck. Mark Rogers, 45, was hospitalized in critical condition and another unidentified man died in the crash.

The incident is still under investigation.
