Child critically hurt in collision on Harrah Rd near SE Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A 9-year-old child suffered critical injuries Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash near southeast Oklahoma City, reports NewsOn6.

Oklahoma City Police responded to the scene near Harrah Road and Interstate 40.

Details are limited, but officials said a car collided with a pickup truck.

The child, who was a passenger in the car, was transported to OU Children’s Hospital. Officials said the young patient was listed in critical condition.

An adult in the same vehicle was also taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

No information regarding the occupants of the pickup truck have been released at this time.

An investigation remains in progress.
