A child was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Oklahoma City Friday; another child and two adults were injured.
Oklahoma City police officials said officers were called to the scene of an accident at the intersection of South Western and Interstate 240. According to Lt. Daniel Stewart, the man responsible for the accident was driving under the influence.
The crash occurred shortly after 7:00 p.m. when the impaired man smashed into a car that was stopped at a red light. The impact of the collision pushed the car into the intersection where it was struck by another vehicle.
The driver of the first vehicle was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released into police custody.
No additional information on the victims has been released.
