Collision involving State Line Christian Academy van kills 4, including children

ADAIR CO., OK – Four people were killed and several others were seriously injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Adair County on Thursday evening.

According to KTUL, the crash happened along US-59 near The Bakery Feeds mill  at about 6 p.m.

Police say the crash involved a State Line Christian Academy van carrying 10 passengers. The driver of the van, a 34-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers of the van, ages 13 and 11, were also killed in the crash. Three other juvenile passengers were hospitalized in critical condition.

The driver of the other vehicle involved, 61-year-old Larry Valentine, died at the scene. His passenger was also hospitalized with potentially life-threatening injuries.
