OSAGE COUNTY, OK – A collision with a deer hospitalized a motorcyclist Saturday evening, according to the Ponca Post.

Carl Ray Lewis, 38, was going west on State Highway 20 when a deer came onto the road. Lewis hit the deer which sent him flying from the motorcycle, a 2007 Yamaha, and into the road where he slid to a stop. The motorcycle landed on the shoulder of the road.

Lewis suffered arm, head, leg, and trunk injuries. He was taken via Air Evac to a hospital in Tulsa where he was admitted in good condition.
