OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials in Oklahoma City had to close several lanes on Interstate 40 following a crash Monday afternoon.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation Twitter, the crash occurred around 11:30 am near the Meridian Avenue off-ramp Monday. The incident narrowed the interstate to one lane for a few hours causing authorities to maneuver traffic to the surrounding exits.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash, nor has the cause been released. However, all of the lanes, as well as the off-ramp, were subsequently reopened.
