TULSA, OK – A crash near Tally’s Good Food Café frightened the patrons inside last Friday afternoon, reports News 9.

The incident happened at the intersection of U.S. Rte 66 and S Yale Ave when two vehicles nearly collided with each other head-on. The near-miss sent one of the vehicles to bounce off a traffic signal pole a few feet from the crowded restaurant.

Authorities initially believed the vehicles crashed into the restaurant, so they sent three ambulances along with several police cars and fire engines. Several people were hurt with minor injuries but nobody required hospitalization.

The debris caused by the incident as well as the damaged signal pole caused traffic to back up Friday afternoon for a few hours.
