Crash on I-40 and Sooner leads to delays and closures in Midwest City

MIDWEST CITY, OK – A collision on I-40 led to road closures and traffic delays this morning in Midwest City, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on westbound I-40, near Sooner Rd, at about 11:15 a.m.

The roadway was blocked for over an hour as a result of the crash. By 12:46 p.m., the roadway was clear.

It is unclear at this time what led to the collision, or if anyone was hurt as a result.
