Driver arrested after fiery crash in north Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A driver was arrested early Thursday after a fiery collision that involved a child passenger in north Oklahoma City, reports KOCO.
Oklahoma City Police responded to the scene in the area of Northwest 34th Street and North Western Avenue, near Memorial Park. The crash was first reported shortly before 1:00 a.m.
Officers said they arrived to find a car covered in flames, but the driver and child had already exited the vehicle without injury.
After locating the occupants, authorities took the driver into custody, and the child was scheduled to be released to a family member.
No other vehicles were involved, and no further information has been shared at this time.
