Driver dies following head-on crash with ambulance

SPERRY, OK – According to Fox 23, a driver died after they crashed head-on with an ambulance Saturday.

The ambulance was transporting a patient to the hospital when the collision happened around 11:30 p.m. The two medics in the ambulance were both taken to the hospital. Their current condition is unclear at this time. The patient was not further injured.

The driver who crashed into the ambulance died at the scene of the wreck.

It is unclear exactly where in Sperry the incident happened.
