Driver fatally collides with paving truck at I-40 and Meridian Ave

MERIDIAN, OK – KFOR reports that a man is dead following a fatal collision with a paving truck on I-40 Tuesday.
Joseph Wilson, 49, was driving a Nissan Xterra on eastbound I-40 near Meridian when he changed lanes and struck the Ford F-650 paving truck.
First responders were dispatched to the collision around 4:42 p.m. They transported Wilson to an area hospital where he later died.
The cause of the crash has been listed as an “unsafe lane change” by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
