Driver flees after causing major 3-vehilce crash on US-169

TULSA, OK – Three people were transported to the hospital following a major multi-vehicle crash on US-169 Wednesday morning.

According to News 9, the accident occurred as a gold vehicle attempted to merge onto the freeway near the 31st Street exit.

The gold vehicle hit a white SUV, causing it to veer off of the roadway and into the center median before overturning. A third vehicle, a black pickup truck, swerved to avoid the wreckage and collided with a guardrail.

The driver in the at-fault vehicle assisted all others involved in exiting their vehicles before fleeing the scene.

Three occupants in the pickup truck were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear if any other injuries were sustained as a result of the crash.
