Driver injured after crashing with police SUV in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A woman was hospitalized in stable condition after striking a police SUV on the Broken Arrow Expressway Monday evening, according to Tulsa World.

At around 7 p.m. a police SUV stopped to helped a stalled vehicle. The vehicle had run out of gas and it’s occupants were pushing it. A pickup truck collided with the SUV as the officer was trying to assist the stalled vehicle.

The officer sustained no injuries from the accident, he was far enough away when it occurred. The woman operating the pickup truck was hospitalized and is currently in stable condition.
