Driver injured as car overturns at SW Oklahoma City car wash

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — One person was seriously injured Thursday morning in a rollover crash at a car wash near southwest Oklahoma City, according to News9.
The accident happened at Star Wash, located at the corner of Southwest 51st Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue. It was first reported by News9 at about 10:32 a.m.
It was unclear what caused the incident, but a passenger vehicle was entering the business when it crashed and landed on its side.
Responding crews worked to secure the vehicle before extricating the driver from the wreckage. The patient was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
It was unclear whether anyone else was in the vehicle at the time.
