A driver sustained major injuries after failing to yield to an Amtrak train, a January 10 article of KTEN reported.
68-year-old Daniel Woolery was crossing the train tracks while driving his pickup truck. Then, the train struck the back of his pickup, sending it and Woolery airborne. He was then airlifted to a hospital in Denton, Texas. Oklahoma State Troopers said he wasn’t wearing a seat belt. The rail line was shut down for an hour.
