Enid man dead after crashing into ditch in Major County

FAIRVIEW, OK (MAJOR COUNTY) – A man from Enid was killed after crashing into a ditch in Major County early this morning, according to KOCO News.

The collision occurred on Highway 58 in Fairview at about 6 a.m., when 60-year-old Archie Ray Farrand, operating a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, went off the side of the roadway.

Farrand overcorrected the vehicle, causing it to overturn and land in a ditch.

Farrand died at the scene.

No other people were reported injured during the accident.
