The family who was injured in February’s deadly car accident involving former Olympian and current television personality Caitlyn Jenner recently filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against the star.
According to the lawsuit filed by the Wolf-Milesi family, at least four of their family members suffered various injuries after they collided with the SUV which Jenner’s car had pushed into their path on the Pacific Coast Highway. According to reports, Jenner rear-ended a vehicle driven by Kim Howe, forcing her into oncoming traffic. The collision between Howe’s vehicle and that of the Wolf-Milesi family resulted in Howe’s death and the Wolf-Milesi family sustaining injuries of varying severity. The lawsuit also said the family is still suffering from emotional issues caused by their traumatic experience.
At the time of the accident, investigators initially found that Jenner was operating at a high rate of speed; however, prosecutors later declined to pursue vehicular manslaughter charges.
