MCLOUD, OK – During KFOR’s evening news broadcast on Wednesday, it was reported that a U.S. military veteran’s home and all his animals inside were lost in a fire that morning.

According to Dustin Greenberg, the veteran Bryan Stanley’s brother in-law, Stanley returned home from work around midnight and found his farm and home on fire.

Nearly 170 animals inside the home, mostly chicks in incubators, were killed in the fire.

The home was a total loss and very few possessions could be salvaged.

Fire officials have not yet determined the cause of the fire, though Stanley’s family believes it may have started from one of the incubators.
