Firefighter injured battling NW OKC apartment fire

OKLAHOMA CITY, MO – Fire crews responded to an apartment complex fire in northwest Oklahoma City Wednesday morning.
According to KOCO, the blaze started at a building near Northwest 13th Street and North Meridian Avenue.
Emergency crews evacuated the building and at least 19 people were displaced.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling the blaze. The building had no working smoking alarms. Authorities believe the start of the fire was due to electrical issues.
