Firefighters rescue 2 trapped in Spunky Creek

TULSA, OK – Two people who were trapped by floodwaters near Spunky Creek were rescued by firefighters on Saturday night, reports KTUL.
A vehicle occupied by two people was washed away a quarter of a mile downstream when the driver failed to see moving water on the roadway.
The two occupants exited the vehicle through an open window. One of them swam to shore.
Firefighters rescued the other occupant using a boat. Neither of the two occupants was seriously injured. The person who swam to shore was examined by Oak Grove medics.
